Yes, any of our full lace caps allow you to wear those styles.

Does the Yaki Hair wave up when wet or keep a curl from a curling iron?

No, it remains straight when wet, but can hold a limp curl for a few hours.

What is Light Yaki Texture?

Light Yaki texture is another African American permed texture that is in between the Straight and Yaki Perm Straight.  It has a silkier texture than yaki.

What is Yaki Perm Straight Hair texture?

The Yaki Straight texture is a permed texture similar to what African American hair texture after a relaxer is used. 

What is Remy hair?

Remy Hair is human hair that is collected directly from a single hair donor. It is also referred to as Cuticle Hair, Virgin Hair and Cut Hair. It is the softest and most natural hair on the market. It also makes the hair softer and more natural and makes it so it does not tangle which allows it to be ideal for longer wear.

What Kind of Hair is used?

Our wigs are made from 100% Indian Remy Hair. 

What do I do with excess lace on my wig?

You will trim the excess lace back to the line where the hair starts. You will trim the lace as close to the hairline as possible without cutting any of the wig hair. Cut the lace back a little bit at a time until you are comfortable.

Do I need to wear a wig cap?

No, it's not necessary.  

I’m Darker in Complexion, will transparent lace work for me?

Yes, the lace will make you scalp appear lighter than your skin for the most natural look. You want to match the lace color with your scalp complexion not your skin tone. This is because when you part the unit, you want it to appear as your natural scalp color.

What is Baby Hair?

Baby hair is fine, short hair sewn into the front in order to enhance the natural appearance of your hairline.

Do you cut and style the wigs and give layers?

No. After purchasing your wig, you should take it to your local stylist for personalized styling to best suit your face shape and features.

Are you wigs longer than the advertised length?

We are proud to share that our wigs are the exact length ordered.  Each strand applied to the base cap will be the length requested, your wig will have natural  layers because the strands at the top of your head will fall above the strands that start at the nape.

Yes, all of our wigs come with the ability to be parted anywhere.

Can I use rollers, curling irons, or flat irons to style my wig?

Yes, all of our wigs can be styled to your liking. It’s Human Remy Hair and will be styled like your own natural hair does. 

Can the Wavy and Curly Units be Flat Ironed or Hot Curled?

Yes, however over time the wave and/or curl pattern will gradually turn straight. It’s only recommended for straight and/or bodywave units to be flat ironed or curled on a regular.  Continuously straightening curly hair will eventually overprocess the hair, resulting in limp curls or waves.
